- Good afternoon, Mrs. Herminia. I am Susan, and I am your interviewer. I will be evaluating your skills for the job as a 3D Animator. How are you doing today?
- I am great! How about you?
- I’m fine, thank you.
- Tell me about yourself?
- Well, my name is Herminia Franco. I'm from Colombia, and I grew up in a small town called Chiquinquirá. Now I live in Funza, near Bogotá, and I have lived here since 2020. I work as a freelance webmaster in design. I'm 52 years old, and I am married. I have three sons and one grandson. I am hard-working, eager to learn. I take my job seriously, but I also like to have fun. Now, I study 3D animation at SENA and I am a good student.
- What motivates you?
- I think, feeling like you are making a difference in the lives of others.
- What are your hobbies?
- My hobbies are cooking, reading, sewing, watching good movies and going for walks. I also love spending time with my family.
- What are your future plans if you get this job?
- My future plans include expanding my knowledge and skills in my current field. I am actively pursuing a 3D Animator certification to further advance my career. I am also interested in networking and building relationships with other professionals in my field.
- What are your future goals or what are your career goals?
- One of my most significant career aspirations is to take on a mentorship role within the organization. By sharing my knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned, I hope to inspire and empower others to reach their full potential.
- What do you see as a major success in your life?
- A major success in my life has been learning web design completely on my own. This journey of self-teaching has been incredibly rewarding, as it allowed me to not only develop my skills but also bring joy to others. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my work is seeing the amazement and happiness on my clients' faces when they see their completed web designs, some even cry with joy. Knowing that my work has such a positive impact on people’s lives fills me with pride and motivates me to keep growing in my craft.
- Why did you leave your last job?
- While I enjoyed working independently and taking ownership of my projects, I believe that collective intelligence and collaboration can lead to exceptional results. I am excited about the opportunity to leverage my existing skills while simultaneously acquiring new ones in the animation industry.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
- Among my goals for the next few years are leading a 3D animation team, whether formally or informally, and potentially creating my first animated short film.
